Course Dates
The course includes one seven day block followed by four fortnightly weekends, based in and around a wonderful school in Preston and with field trips in the city and to Central Victoria.

Below is a tentative daily timetable.
July 1- 3: Introduction to permaculture, the permaculture design process and design project site visits
July 4: Climate, landforms and patterns in nature
July 5: Water and access.
July 6: Trees
July 7: Field trips
Jul 20 – 21: Soils and crops
Aug: 3 – 4: Animal systems and design time
Aug: 17 – 18: Central Vic site visits seeing a social enterprise working farm, talking community organising at an ecovillage, and talking appropriate technology at an incredible owner-built home and tour of Melliodora (camp over at Yandoit Farm)
Aug 31 – Sep 1: Final weekend including design presentations and where to from here & party!
Note: If you choose to camp on the weekend at Yandoit Farm, you’ll need your own (warm!) camping gear. Otherwise you can organise your own accommodation in the area, such as in Hepburn.
